Transaction Coordination Process

Submit Required Documents

Email TLC@johnlscott.com with a fully executed Purchase and Sale Agreement. Please include the buyer's pre-approval letter, all applicable addenda, and required disclosures. Your assigned Transaction Coordinator will confirm receipt and begin preparing to open the transaction file.

File Setup and Review

Your Transaction Coordinator will review all submitted documents for accuracy and completeness, set up the transaction in SkySlope, and create a Transaction Summary Sheet outlining key contingency deadlines and contact information. They will also introduce themselves to all parties involved.

Ongoing Transaction Management

Based on the selected coordination package, TLC will monitor all contractual deadlines, manage communication between parties, and ensure all documents are properly executed and submitted on time. You will receive consistent updates and reminders throughout the process.

Listing Coordination Process

Submit Listing Coordination Request

Email TLC@johnlscott.com with a completed Listing Coordination Request Form. Please include the property address, desired go-live date, and any special instructions or notes.

Listing Preparation and Marketing

TLC will review all provided information and ensure the listing is accurately entered into the MLS. All marketing materials will be created based on your selected services. You will receive proofs for each marketing piece to review and approve before printing or publishing.

MLS Activation and Ongoing Support

Upon approval, your listing will go live on the MLS on the scheduled date. You will receive confirmation once it is active. TLC will continue to manage all listing-related paperwork and assist with any status updates or changes throughout the listing period.

What are the hours of Transaction and Listing Coordination?

Our team works Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Please note, the office will be closed on federal holidays.

What regions do you offer the program to?

The program is available to all John L Scott corporate offices in WA and OR.

How do I pay for Transaction and Listing Coordination?

Listing coordination is paid through agent billing upon listing activation. Transaction coordination will be paid out of your commissions upon closing. There is a $50 cancellation fee agent billed if the transaction fails to close.

How do I submit a new listing?

To submit a new listing, please email TLC@johnlscott.com or you may choose a package on our website, www.JohnLScottTLC.com. Please include the listing service request form to ensure a timely setup. If possible, please give more than a 24-hour notice before a listing needs to go live.

How do I start using Transaction Coordination?

Upon mutual acceptance, you can either submit the purchase and sale agreement via email or through our website, www.JohnLScottTLC.com. Please be sure to include the fully signed around purchase and sale agreement and any additional addendums.
